Christmas at Penny’s
At Christmas time, we at Penny's go above and beyond to ensure that you have the most amazing (and delicious) holiday season.
All our Christmas Hams are produced from Bangalow Sweet Pork. The pork is jointed and prepared on-site before being smoked in small batches in our personal smokehouse.
Our staff are there to help in everything from cooking times to glaze recipes, even how to care for your ham on the off chance you have leftovers.
Other Christmas specialties include seasoned or plain pork roasts, whole turkeys or turkey buffets. We also stock in store a range of specialty Christmas accompaniments.
We recommend placing your order ahead of Christmas to guarantee your specialty meats are available. We begin taking orders the day after our Melbourne Cup day Butcher’s Picnic in November.
How to Place Your Order
1) Visit our store and talk to one of our friendly staff. They will work with you to find out exactly what you need and will fill in a paper order form with you. This order will then be processed into our computer system and you will receive a confirmation email. Please check all the details carefully and to ensure a smooth and efficient collection, please print and bring this email with you, or have it ready on your phone for us to see.
2) Call us on (02) 9969 3372. One of our friendly staff will take down your order over the phone before processing it into our computer system. You will then receive a confirmation email to check. No payments are taken at the time of ordering as all Christmas orders are prepared fresh and weighed at the time of collection. We are happy to accommodate any special orders we can, so please take the time to chat to our team to ensure you get exactly what you're after.
